Paul Blue is Assistant Aviation Director with the City of Phoenix Aviation Department. He leads several divisions, including Business & Properties, Facilities & Services, and Public Relations; and is responsible for the capital budget for the Department. His teams manage 1600 tenants, $320 million dollars in annual revenue, and a $205 million dollar operating budget.
Prior to being selected Assistant Director, Paul held the Deputy Aviation Director position for Business & Properties. Paul came to the Aviation Department in 2001 to administer real estate and business transactions for the Phoenix airports.
In 1989, Paul Blue began his career with the City of Phoenix, and spent twelve years working in economic development; including business attraction, retail / hospitality, downtown redevelopment, and light rail.
Paul received his MPA and MBA from Arizona State University. A native of Alaska, he has lived in Phoenix since 1988.
